#Australia a sitting duck for #hacker attacks
CYBER espionage is used against Australia on a ''massive scale'' and foreign spies are using government networks to penetrate the digital defences of allies such as the US, according to the ASIO chief, David Irvine. Mr Irvine, in a speech delivered to business leaders ahead of the Security In Government conference, gave one of the strongest indications yet of the seriousness with which the government is treating the cyber threat.
