The infamous hackers' group Anonymous strikes again, breaking into the website of San Francisco's rapid transit system BART. The hackers described the attack as an act of retaliation for an attempt of BART officials to stop the demonstrations against the murder of a passenger by police last month. In the wake of recent Arabic world revolutions and London riots the San Francisco incident raises the problem of the Internet being used as an instrument to provoke and manage social unrests.
