San Francisco-based Anons are urging anyone interested to participate in rescheduled, peaceful protests to take place at 5:00 P.M. (local time) on Monday at the Civic Center Bay Area Rapid Station (BART). Anons and many other groups are angered over the fact that BART authorities actually turned off its cell service in a "totalitarian display" to prevent planned protests by more than 100 people on Thursday by severing off communications.
Protests were previously focused on BART's recent shooting of Charles Hill and the 2009 shooting of Oscar Grant III, the latter who was handcuffed and held down on the ground with a knee on his neck then "executed" by a BART police officer with a gun.
