Team Identifies GingerMaster Malware, Exploits Android 2.3 at Root-Level | #malware #hackers #gingerbread

Security experts revealed Thursday a new malware that apparently is the first to exploit Android 2.3Gingerbread at root-level.

North Carolina State University (NCSU) researchers led by Assistant Professor Xuxian Jiang, in partnership with mobile security firm NetQin, identified malicious code GingerMaster,  which exploits Android 2.3 at root-level.
