#Phishers strike Google Adwords, Sophos warns

A carefully planned phishing attack may have fooled a number of customers of Google Adwords, warns security expert Sophos.

Scammers have sent out a significant number of dummy emails around the world in an attempt to steal the details of Google customers.

The phish sends out emails to potential victims which claim their ads have been suspended due to a lack of activity on the account, inviting them to follow a link to check their account.
