Anonymous has announced Operation Britain, which aims to support peaceful protests with coordinated IT systems attacks.
The group hopes to inspire political protests unlike the riots seen in London and across the UK last week, but has used that experience as its inspirationfor Operation Britain. It said that while it does not support "thuggery" it does support protest and understands the causes of the riots.
