The VNC pioneer has become a core member of the Car Connectivity Consortium, commited to creating an open and common standard for integrating mobile devices and applications into the automotive industry.
The international consortium is backing the Terminal Mode specification, based on VNC technology, which has been published by Nokia and CE4A (Consumer Electronics for Automotive) – the automotive industry working group comprising Audi, BMW, Daimler, Porsche and Volkswagen.
